The Superhero and the Witch

Set in the England of the early 2010s, a supernatural satire for adults of all ages. It follows two young women – Nisha, the superhero and Siobhan, the witch – as they navigate business, politics, psychology, ethics, religion, scams, pop music and reality TV, trying to make the world a better place. It should appeal to anyone who’s asked themselves: ‘if I had supernatural powers, how would I use them to fix things?’

Trigger warning: this novel takes its premise seriously, respecting its characters – and readers - with realistic contexts and choices. It includes (non-gratuitous) violence and criminal activity, and refers to life-changing injuries, social division, political controversies and ethnic/religious tensions.
